But I guess that is the best word to fit the non comics. I mean, the comics are fighting a holy war of laughter. The more you laugh, the more the comic wins the battle. The awkward silence, that's the devil taking souls. Pray for the comics people! Laugh and you are doing Gods work! Wow.. where the hell did that come from. Comics hanging out, breaking balls, it's a beautiful thing...Assuming all conditions are perfect. But 2.5 hours of comics who don't like each other, aren't supportive. Sit in the back of the room talking instead of watching the performer on stage. Never knowing if your material is any good because no one gives a shit. I don't know about you, but I'd rather perform for a small crowd of civilians then hang out with my comic buddies at the bar and drink all night, than be part of a marathon where the comics get nothing on stage and the crowd is in misery because they are being "treated" to an avalanche of inexperienced comics.
