Did I Just Say That?
April 25, 2008
Is there anything more egotistical than standing in front of a room full of people and thinking that you are interesting enough to engage them…Then going home and listening to those exact words you just said over and over again on recording? Brian doesn’t think so, which is why he considers recording your set to be the most overrated “tool” in comedy. What do you think?
Other topics include the art of dick jokes, Artie Lange - the poster boy for disturbed comics, using BTB as a substitute for whiskey, children in the workplace, and drunk broads ruining your career. Can I hear that back?

What Up B-Cos?
April 17, 2008
B-Mo talks a lot about working the road as a club comic, but what if you want to actually make money? Corporate comic Tim Clue steps behind the bricks to discuss working clean, why it’s ok to make demands of your employer, and a hell gig story that most comics would consider a blessing.
Other topics include the overrated/underrated debate, stand up on street corners, things you’re not supposed to say in front of a 2 month old, trolling the internet for jokes, and questions you should never ask a comic. Did you say shingles?

Soooooooo Underrated
April 11, 2008
On any given night in the back of any given comedy club you can hear comics drunkenly listing which of their peers are grossly overrated and undeserving of success, but what about those that don’t get the accolades they deserve? Brian tries to define what underrated means to him, and it has nothing to do with their bank account.
Other topics include new towns and old jokes, defining sell outs, defending Lewis Black, why 3 piece suits are never funny (well, almost) and the voice of the comedy fans on BTB continues to grow. Did I say rape? I meant slightly discolor.

Is Carlin Back?
April 3, 2008
Reluctantly, Brian welcomes back Mike, the officially comedy judge of BTB who gives his take on Carlin, Lewis Black and Gallagher. 2 of these guys get praised while 1 is panned, and it’s probably not the one you’re thinking.
Topics on the day include stand up around the world, the master of making rehearsed stand up seem fresh, the road vs. the big city, losing the funny and the evolution of Comedy Central. I’m a robo-scientist.
